EMS Colleagues Take Part in COVID-19 Vaccinations at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital

On December 18, Loyola Medicine began distributing Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine to high-priority colleagues as outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Colleagues from the Loyola Emergency Medical Services System assisted in the initial distribution of the vaccine at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital in Melrose Park, IL.
Loyola Medicine continues to distribute COVID-19 vaccines and is eagerly awaiting the delivery of the Moderna vaccination as well.
We thank the colleagues who participated, as well as Rita RiceRobert FranciereOliver Boryszewski and Dawn Wujcik, who served on the initial COVID Vaccine distribution/planning team.
