CCEMTP (Critical Care Emergency Medical Transport Program) – 2022
October 3, 2022 @ 8:00 am - October 21, 2022 @ 5:00 pm CDT$1,400.00
The CCEMTP course is open to any paramedic, nurse, physician assistant, physician or registered respiratory therapist who has worked in that capacity for a minimum of one year.
This intensive three-week course will prepare the student to become a critical care transport specialist.
Attendance at all classes is mandatory.
Students with 100% attendance will be evaluated with a written examination at the end of the course.
Upon successful completion, the student will receive a renewable certification from UMBC valid for three years.
This 100-hour course has been approved by UMBC, an organization accredited by the Continuing Education Board of Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS) www.cecbems.org. In addition, 100 hours of continuing education credits will be issued on an hour-for-hour basis through the Loyola EMS System and the Illinois Department of Public Health.
Students are STRONGLY encouraged to possess current ACLS, Pediatric Resuscitation (PALS, NRP, ENPC, or equivalent), and Trauma (PHTLS, ITLS, TNCC, TNS, ATLS, TPATC, or equivalent) certifications.
We find that these providers are more successful in completing the CCEMTP curriculum.
The course will run Monday – Thursday, with class dates being: October 3rd – October 20th, and the final exam is administered on the 21st.
Current CCEMTP Certification holders may audit for up to 40 hours of Continuing Education. Please contact Oliver Boryszewski for audit registration.
